A Peek at Our Day

A Look Into One Blooming Day

Here is what a day of fun looks like at our school!

🌼 Welcome
Welcome time gives children a gentle start to their day with greetings, free play, and journaling. It helps build independence, self expression, and a smooth transition into learning.
🌼 Circle time
During circle time, children come together to build community and daily learning skills. We explore the calendar, weather, social-emotional sharing, and review our daily schedule, along with music and movement to engage and energize learning.
🌼 Physical development
Throughout the day, children build both gross and fine motor skills through hands on activities and play. These skills help strengthen coordination, physical development, and independence, supporting overall growth and school readiness.
🌼 Color and shapes unit
Through art, play, and movement, children explore colors and shapes in a fun, engaging way that builds confidence and creativity.
🌼 Numbers unit
Let's count and play! Through play, music, and hands on activities, children learn to count, recognize numbers and build confidence in their early math skills
🌼 Rug time
During rug time, we gather for wiggles, songs, and stories that help children learn, listen, and grow togther.
🌼 Snack time
Snack time is a calm, friendly break where children enjoy a little snack while practicing manners, independence and social skills
🌼 ABC unit
Children learn letters and sounds through fun, hands on activities that build early reading and writing skills. Before kindergarten, most kids are blending sounds together to form a word, while others are reading.
🌼 Weekly unit
Each week, children explore a new theme that keeps learning fresh and exciting, while helping children build curiosity, understanding, and early learning skills through hands on activities to explore and learn.
🌼 Free play time
Free play time gives children the opportunity to explore, imagine, and create through child-led activities. It supports independence, social development, creativity, and problem-solving in a relaxed, engaging setting.
🌼 Let’s clean together
Clean up time teaches children the importance of responsibility and teamwork as they help put toys and material away. This daily routine builds independence and respect for their classroom space.
